 For the Children

JR’s Children’s Field is the young community at the heart of Trunchonbury. This year you will need to travel ‘Over the Rainbow’ to get there, but once there, a world of colour, fun and wonder awaits you. Sift for gold at the bottom of the rainbow or help hunt for the colours that have escaped and are hiding in the field. We have JR’s goody bags for you if can you bring them back to us. And if we can’t get them all back, will you help us colour the rainbow in?

Throughout the weekend, real life Vikings will be invading, will you be there to help us keep them back? Fancy making some noise? In the Media Laboratory on Saturday, Will Wilson will be making music from a variety of things, ever heard anyone play fruit before? Or maybe the table?  And the music does not stop there as the Music Train will depart at 10:30 on Sunday for a wonderful singing, shaking journey!
Meet the puppets at the puppet theatre, and listen to their tales, or at the enThere are mugs to be designed and rainbow wands to be made. Colour is everywhere and you design your own rainbow bag or make jewellery and keyrings from the bright buttons that we have in the billions!
With our clever air dry clay, you can create a sculpture one day and come back and bring it to life with coloured paints the next day....
We would love you to come dressed in your favourite outfits, wear them all day and show us your colours! We have all sorts of outfits for you to dress up in and we can make sure you get your picture taken, so that you have something to take home. And top your outfit with a Prince or Princess crowns the crazier the better
Do you believe in Fairies?? The make them a door for your bedroom or garden. Perhaps they will open it and pay you a visit!
There are toys and games for the little ones, a Tattoo table where the bugs are on the loose but which one will you chose? Paint your face the colour of the rainbow.
And at Mid-day every day, let the madness begin! The ultimate water fight will take over JR’s Children's Field. On the sound of the whistle it’s time to drench the adults! But be warned, they can drench you too!!
Got a spare minute? Well, there is Inflatable Bowling and the Graffiti Wall, so grab a pen and leave your tag!!
Refuel at our food tents, where there will be sweets, candyfloss, burgers and more and go and get a drink from one of the JR team, bring the empty cup to the tent and they will make it shake!!
We have a rainbow of wonderful activities to share with you and we can’t wait to see you.

The Healing Fields Marquee
Across the whole of Trunchonbury weekend, the Tribe are proud to offer a wide selection of complimentary therapies in the The Healing Fields Marquee. Our carefully chosen therapies are designed to enhance your general and spiritual health and wellbeing as well as giving you an insight into an alternative way of healing.
Come in and meet our wonderful, fully trained practitioners who are, as you will discover, an exciting blend of people from many different paths. Treat yourself to a session with one of the skilled healers; explore and learn about the world of healing and how it can be of benefit to you.
Our fabulous therapists will be working in The Healing Marquee throughout the festival weekend** offering: Tarot, Positive Birth Information, Reiki with Humans and Animals, Reflexology, Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Spiritual Healing, Homoeopathy and Flower Essences, Sports Massage, Hand Reading (Palmistry), a Psychic and Spirit Medium, a Metatonic Mat for Chakra Balancing, Kinesiology, Ear Candling,  Indian Head Massage, Shiatsu and Therapeutic Sound.
Healing covers a broad spectrum of therapies and treatments and our aim is to provide as wide a range as possible. When our energy is unbalanced or depleted the Therapist acts as a gentle set of jump leads, drawing energy to where it is needed. And when the symptoms are more physical, the Therapist can provide a non-invasive treatment to harness the body’s natural ability to heal, freeing your natural resources to work in the most effective way for you.
If you are feeling a bit lost and in need a little direction in your life, at a crossroads and in need of reassurance? A Palmistry reading will give an amazing insight into how you have lived your life, how life is affecting you and what is in store for you. Our talented Tarot card reader will tell you significant events that have happened to you in the past and that are still affecting you now, what is happening around you and how it may affect you. Or spend some time with our Clairvoyant and start to understand how they work and what help they can provide to us, gleaned from outside of the normal realms of sensory perception.
So why not pop in and top up your resources away from the hustle and bustle of the festival, in the calm oasis of the Healing Marquee. Thinking of trying a new therapy for an existing condition and interested in learning more about it? Then book a slot with the relevant therapist and see what a more natural way of healing can do for you.
We even have help for your stressed out pooch, so if you find yourself in need of a quiet half hour, we have the perfect place for you.

There will be a huge variety of food on offer as the Food Stalls will include: Café, Thai, Wood Fired Pizza, Panini's, Burgers, Duck Wraps, Candy floss , Sweets, Donuts, Sweet Waffles, Crepes, Noodle bar, Hog roast, Finger chicken, Curry, Children's snack packs and from our German Specialist, Bratwurst, Frikadellen, Vegetarian Sausage and Pretzels.
