Swervy World

Jump Jive

Whatever the occasion, however unusual the venue, the sensational Swervy World Jive Swing Boogie Woogie Rhythm & Blues Band can provide up to two and half hours of high octane vintage dance music. Currently working as a five piece band with guitar, double bass, drums, saxophone, trombone and vocals.

The band has its roots firmly in 1940s/50s jump jive swing, with the occasional detour to 60´s surf, kitsch and mambo for that interplanetary twist. Our mission is simply to provide the highest possible standard of musicianship and the finest dance music coupled with excellent showmanship and prompt professional backup. Swervy World are self contained with their own PA and background music for intervals.

Since 1996 Swervy World have played at countless Dance Halls, Theatres, Festivals, Street Festivals, Cruises, Clubs, Big Tops, Weddings, Shopping Centres, Parties and Corporate Events mainly in the UK but also in Holland, France, Denmark, New Zealand, Australia and the USA.
