Mike, Pete, Dickie and Keith have individually played in numerous successful bands over past years. Their now coming together as the current The Mustangs Country Band line-up presents the ideal musical combination for Dancing and for Listening to Country Music Nights and Events.

The History of the Mustangs Country Band started in late 2021 with initial members, and then replacements since retired, having played at various venues and events. Songs performed have continued to evolve and grow and the current line-up is now playing regularly and well received.

The band has a very broad view as to what is “Country”; or a Classic or good Number of a wider genre - meaning if its sung with a Country voice, its Country ! The band’s catalogue of in excess of 120 songs does include such as Neil Diamond, Mark Bolan (TRex), Cliff Richard, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Chuck Berry – (Yes, you are absolutely right, perhaps not so much of the “& Western” or “Yee Haw” end of County & Western !),

But their numbers certainly for enjoying dancing to or just listening include lots of memorable good and old songs from the likes of the Mavericks, Eagles, Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson, George Straight, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Charlie Pride, George Jones, Buck Owens, Gordon Lightfoot, Elvis Presley, and many many more.

Mike provides Lead Vocals and Acoustic (Rhythm) Guitar; Dickie also provides some Lead Vocals, Backing Harmony Vocals, and Bass Guitar; Pete provides Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals; and Keith on Drums completes our 4 piece line-up.
