are a well established seven piece band based in Norfolk, sporting an overwhelming sense of fun and un-bounding energy. They play a wide spectrum of styles pleasing musical tastes from toddlers to octogenarians. They have a keen sense of fun which borders on risqué mildly educational, making them wickedly entertaining and an ideal wedding or party band.
Wearing increasingly uncomfortable bright tight red dresses, feathers and ridiculous headwear,Cleavage, Miss Vixen, Miss Flatt and Miss Saxual Favours belt out well known dance classics, the lyrics somewhat differing to the originals.
Playing saxophones, teapots, decoy ducks and a range of rather strange percussion, the Cleaving are impossible to describe - jazz cabaret, swing, blues, latin, reggae, funk, and if under duress, country and western!
They are backed by the long suffering "Engine Room" comprising of:
CARLOS FANDANGO - Keyboards
BAILEY O''KICKERDOORIN - Guitar
REV. HAMISH McTAGGART - Bass
The Cleavages have lots of props to help make the evening memorable and encourages the most shy to wear kilts and wigs. (Alcohol permitting)
The band have done television and radio work, made numerous recordings and have raised thousands of pounds for cancer charities over the years. They are now enjoying their eleventh year.
